Signed with Eastern Kentucky University out of high school, then to Georgia Tech University.  After college, he consults and is a personal hitting coach to top national prospects, coaching with Aggies National, MLB Dream Series, and Minority Baseball Prospects. Younger brother Termarr Johnson is a national top-rated prospect, drafted in the MLB draft 4th overall to the Pittsburgh Pirates.
